DU UG Admissions to Start from May 28

DU UG Admissions colleges will now be mandated to enroll all the students meeting their scuff-off criteria and there will be no first-come, first-served policy for undergraduate admissions, which will begin from May 28 for the 2015-16 Delhi University academic session.

Explaining the toting taking place guideline, DU’s Dean of Students Welfare, JM Khurana, said, “Earlier, suppose if 100 students matched the cut-off, only the ones who could get themselves enrolled on the said number of seats would be enrolled while the rest would be denied admission. This practice will be done away with from this year. ”

Announcing the right of right to use guidelines today, Khurana supplementary, “Both online and offline registrations will continue for the UG admissions. The online registration will be understandable from May 28 to June 15. Students would be fresh to right of entry the online OMR forms upon the Delhi University website (du.ac.in).”

The offline Delhi University forms will be all the rage at the registration centres from June 5 to June 15 along in the company of 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.

The varsity has set occurring eight right of access centres as neighboring-door to the 18 which were set going on last year.

The centres for Offline DU Undergraduate Admissions — Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College, Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Maharaja Agrasen College, PG DAV scholastic, Rajdhani studious, Shyam Singh College and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce — are all located in the South Campus.

The first cut-off list will be announced upon June 25, followed by six more of these lists till July 24, he said, count that the students will have three days to terrific enrollment below each of the lists.

It will be mandatory for students seeking admission to B.Com and Economics Honours courses to have mathematics as a subject in Std XII. It, however, will not be mandatory for them to summative it in their ‘best-four’ percentage.

    I just want to know about the courses available for the students who haven’t taken maths in XII standard. The various notifications and news related to Delhi university admissions these days are just giving us dangerous signals that we’re not eligible for delhi university colleges just because we haven’t taken maths in XII.
    It is a humble request that please make such rules and criteria keeping in mind WITHOUT MATHS students. ! Its just like we can’t apply for BMS,BBS,B.COM(hons). C’mon its about our future !!!

      Well, it is just a rumor which was started on April Fools Day that the Students without maths will not be allowed to join DU. Therefore you need not to worry! We will soon keep you all updating with the latest info regarding DU Admissions 2015!

    please do whatever but atleast remove this rule that maths is compulsory for bcom honours as many students haven’t opted for maths in class 12th due to du guidelines that maths is not compulsory for bcom honours now please help us as many students wanted to do bcom honours and from good colleges it is a humble requests to u
